1. What is a Vietnam E-visa?
A Vietnam E-visa is an electronic visa issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department via an electronic system. Foreigners outside of Vietnam can submit their applications themselves or through an inviting agency/organization, depending on the case.
According to the regulations effective from August 15, 2023, a Vietnam E-visa has a maximum validity of 90 days and can be issued for single or multiple entries. The E-visa is available to citizens of all countries and territories, but entrants must still meet entry requirements and not fall under any cases of entry suspension according to Vietnamese law.
2. Documents to be prepared

6. Notes to avoid delays or rejection
⚠ Do not use portrait photos that are angled, wearing glasses, wearing hats, have a dark background, or are excessively edited.
⚠ The photo of the passport page must clearly show the entire information page; do not crop the corners, and ensure there is no glare or blurred passport numbers.
⚠ Full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number, and expiration date must match the passport exactly.
⚠ Select the correct port of entry/exit from the list of ports permitted for E-visa use. The list of ports may be updated according to new resolutions.
⚠ Once issued, it is recommended to print the E-visa and double-check all information before your flight date.
