Etihad and Uzbekistan Airways open an Abu Dhabi - Tashkent travel corridor

Etihad Airways and Uzbekistan Airways have activated a codeshare partnership alongside a daily Abu Dhabi - Tashkent service. Etihad says the first codeshare flights are available for travel from 9 August 2026, allowing passengers to build multi-sector trips on a single ticket instead of arranging their own connections.

Etihad guests can reach eight domestic destinations in Uzbekistan via Tashkent, while Uzbekistan Airways customers gain access to Abu Dhabi and Etihad’s wider international network. It is a useful new option for Central Asia trips, but travellers should still confirm Uzbekistan and UAE visa rules, transit conditions and minimum connection times before ticketing.
