Riyadh Air accelerates South Asia expansion with August route launches

Riyadh Air is moving quickly into South Asia, rolling out Riyadh services to Mumbai, Dhaka, Islamabad and Lahore during August 2026. Daily Mumbai flights began on 4 August and daily Dhaka flights on 7 August, while the Pakistan routes are planned for the second half of the month.

For Vietnam-based travellers connecting through the Middle East, the new network may create more itinerary choices to India, Bangladesh and Pakistan in coming seasons. Because these are newly launched routes, check timetables, baggage rules, transit requirements and disruption protection on one through-ticket. Avoid self-connecting on separate tickets when the transfer is short or protection is unclear.
