Vietjet to launch direct Ho Chi Minh City - Western Sydney service in January 2027

Vietjet plans to begin nonstop service between Ho Chi Minh City and Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) on 10 January 2027. The route is set to be among the first international links at Sydney’s new western airport, adding a fresh option for the Vietnamese community and leisure travellers between Vietnam and Australia.

Australian announcements indicate that the service will start with two weekly return flights on Airbus A330 aircraft and is expected to rise to three weekly flights from March 2027. Flight schedules, fare rules and entry requirements should be checked through official channels before booking, as seasonal operating plans can change.
