OVERVIEW:

MORNING:

• Breakfast at the hotel & prepare at the lobby or meeting point (Hanoi Opera House).

• Tour guide picks up guests from 08:30 – 08:45.

• 09:00: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century.

• 09:15 – 09:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex. Guests have the opportunity to enter the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh, then stroll around the gardens to visit the stilt house and House 67 – where Uncle Ho lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Continue to visit the One Pillar Pagoda, one of the most unique pagodas in the world, dedicated to the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.

• 11:00: Visit one of the following two locations:

◦ Vietnam Museum of Ethnology: learn about the culture of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups (open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays).

◦ Bat Trang Pottery Village: explore the local life & learn about the pottery-making process (visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays).

• 12:30: Lunch at a restaurant, enjoying 8 special Vietnamese dishes.

• 13:30 – 13:45: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam, the first university in Vietnam, built in the 11th century.

• 15:45: Depart for Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son Temple – dedicated to the 13th-century general Tran Hung Dao.

• 16:15: Tour ends, return to the hotel.


CHILD POLICY:

• Children from 1 – 4 years old: free of charge.

• Children from 5 – 9 years old: 75% of the tour price.

• Children from 10 years old and above: 100% of the tour price.

SPECIAL NOTES:

• The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays & Fridays.

• The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is usually closed for about 2 months each year for maintenance (typically from June 15 to August 15, but the exterior can still be visited).

• Please wear modest, respectful clothing (covering shoulders and knees) when entering sacred sites such as pagodas, temples, and the Mausoleum.

• It is recommended to bring necessary items such as: cash, phone/camera, raincoat/umbrella, sunscreen, etc. (depending on the weather).

• Option: Cyclo ride or water puppet show can be arranged at the end of the tour (if pre-booked).

• The program may end earlier or later depending on actual conditions.

• The order of visits in the itinerary may change but all destinations will be covered.
