HALF-DAY CITY TOUR OPTIONS

08:15 AM OR 13:30 PM – Guide and car pick up guests at the hotel.

1. Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex – Ba Dinh Square – One Pillar Pagoda

Take a short walk around Ba Dinh Square, the historic site where President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed Vietnam’s independence in 1945.

Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong after a dream of the Bodhisattva seated on a lotus. The pagoda resembles a lotus rising from water—one of Asia’s most unique Buddhist structures.

2. Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam)

Built in 1070 as the Temple of Confucius and home to Vietnam’s first Royal University founded in 1076.

A peaceful haven away from the bustling city, offering insight into Vietnam’s 1,000-year educational history.

3. Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Returned Sword)

In the 15th century, King Le Loi received a sacred sword that helped him defeat the Ming invaders. Later, a golden turtle emerged from the lake to retrieve the sword, giving the lake its name.

4. Electric Car Tour – Old Quarter

Explore the Old Quarter's guild streets such as Hang Bac (Silver Street), Hang Gai (Silk Street), Hang Tre (Bamboo Street).

A perfect time for photography and experiencing local life.

Return to the hotel.
